A nicely made, all-wooden Fanorona game from Spanish manufacturer, Pico Pao. Featuring an African Padauk wooden board with a 9 x 5, laser engraved layout, the set also includes wooden playing pieces that can be stored in slots along each side of the board.



Fanorona is a 2 player strategy game that’s indigenous to Madagascar. The aim of the game is to capture all your opponent’s pieces. Capturing is achieved by either approaching or withdrawing from opponent’s pieces.



This Fanorona game is reversible so it can be played on either side if desired.
