Due to popular demand, we have made sets of real old English ha’pennies available for the play of Shove Ha’penny. These coins are unsmoothed and suitable for play on wooden polished boards.



Untouched ha’penny coins will not work well on slate boards unless they are first smoothed. You can do this yourself using emery cloth or else we do also sell ready-smoothed coins.



The old English ha’pennies are used. They may vary in quality and some look decidedly old – naturally!
