Description

The highly regarded World Chess Championship Pieces were designed by the internationally renowned Pentagram architect Daniel Weil with input from the legendary Magnus Carlsen and Vladimir Kramnikare. They are the only pieces approved by Fide and are used in all World Chess Championship events.



The elegant Boxwood pieces are triple weighted and both hand-carved and hand-polished; certainly justifying the price tag. The pieces come in a bespoke storage box with two extra Queens and a 95mm (3.75″) King.



The World Chess Championship Rosewood Board perfectly compliments this set and can be purchased separately.
