Tailored on the professional players’ requirements, the World Champion is the latest version of a competition model which is already a classic in the world tournament panorama. First released in 2004 in the wake of the Deluxe World Champion, (the special table used for the first editions of the Vienna Garlando Weltmeisterschaft), World Champion comes out with completely new features, to better answer the requirements of players taking part in competitions.
Please note that the table does not come with the coin-mechanism shown in the picture. They now come with an adjustable push-pull coin mechanism that can be configured for 5 or 6 coins according to requirements.
It has a coin-operated, pay-to-play mechanism for pubs and clubs. The coin-box is accessible only by opening up the whole table which is locked with a key. The coin-box can be secured with a padlock for additional security. The Garlando Coin-Op Mechanism can be configured for different values and/or freeplay.
The sturdy cabinet structure, further reinforced, remains stable and compact even during the most hard fought matches. The playfield corners and the bar rubbers eliminate any dead zones, while the goals, totally renewed in shape and materials, allow you to obtain more regular ball trajectories. With the new World Champion counting the goals scored becomes easier, thanks to the competition counters, which also mark the sets and games played.
Upon starting the game, all the balls fall into the dispenser at the bottom. Players then move each ball up the channel to the entry hole at the top by pushing with their finger. The default number of balls for a game is ten but this can be modified to suit requirements.
