A excellent Short Mat Bowls starter kit from leading Bowls brand, Drakes Pride. This gives everything that you need to set up whether it be your community centre, village hall or sports hall.
Short Mat Bowls is a miniaturised form of outdoor lawn bowls and uses the same full-size bowls. Generally, players tend to own and bring their own bowls but it’s nice for a club to have a few spare sets for visitors or new players. This starter kit includes 2 pairs of bowls as a bare minimum. If your budget can afford it, you might wish to purchase some additional sets of bowls – a typical selection might be 4 sets of 4 bowls. You could perhaps select 2 sets of size 1 for ladies and 2 sets of size 3 for gents. Or perhaps one of each size 1, 2, 3 and 4.
