Competitive skittlers have for centuries preferred balls made from the traditional wood, Lignum Vitae. However, Lignum has become increasingly hard to source and it seems clear that soon it will be impossible to buy any at all.



As an alternative, we offer these balls, made from a modern black composition material with a weight and density deliberately matched to Lignum. They are designed with serious pub and league players in mind and feature Masters Traditional Games branding.



This is a set of 3 balls, each measuring 5.5 inches and weighing 4lb 8oz. They are primarily used with 12 inch skittles in Devon and Somerset. If you play in a skittles league, please verify with the league authorities that they are suitable before purchasing.
