This is a medium/fast pace mat for Short Mat Bowls produced by renowned bowls supplier Wygreen.



The mat features a synthetic fibre top surface and chip foam backing.



The relatively hard top surface provides a fast speed preferred by some experienced bowlers.



This mat comes with a 5 year guarantee. The mat is more expensive than cheaper mats on the market but is a consistent seller due to its much harder-wearing specification. Both the short mat top cloth and the chip-foam underlay are specially formulated to produce a longer-lasting, more durable and robust short mat that makes the additional cost more economical over the longer term. It is more resistant to track-marks and foot prints. The mat is intrinsically fireproof and comes with a fire test certificate and a care leaflet showing how to roll up the mat and look after it.



The mats roll up and there is a special bag available for convenient storage and handling. The bag is suitable for both short mat and carpet bowls sized mats. It ties around the bag leaving the ends open.



The carpets are pre-marked with the appropriate white lines. Fenders and middle block must be purchased separately.



This mat used to be described as fast/medium but from mid 2016 is described as Medium pace. Please note that the stated pace of a mat is given as a guide only. Pace is subjective and depends on a variety of factors including environment and the surface that the mat is laid upon.
