Description

Molkky is a skittles game of Finnish origin featuring smart numbered skittles which are knocked down by throwing sticks at them. The rules are simple to understand but result in an entertaining game. Essentially, if you knock down just 1 skittle, you score the number on that skittle. If you topple more than one skittle, you get only the number of skittles knocked over. This subtle rule is what makes the game interesting – sometimes you will be trying to knock over just a single pin and on other occasions it will make more sense to aim at a clump of several skittles.



The winner is the first player to knock down 50 points worth of pins with the Molkky throwing stick. The game is also great at parties and other gatherings because any number of people can play and it also works well to form 2 or 3 teams for some extra competitive banter and fun.



This is one of the nicest versions of Molkky around – the aesthetic storage crate is a pleasing accessory for the set, the skittles and stick are a nice size and the game is the genuine article, being a Finnish game made in Finland in an eco-friendly way.
