The classic game of Connect 4. The rules are simple, players take turns dropping their coloured discs into the grid. The first to make a line of 4 – connect 4 – of their discs wins.



Research on the origins of this game by the owner of Masters Traditional Games has revealed that, perhaps surprisingly and contrary to various other claims, the game appears to have been genuinely invented by the large corporate, Hasbro in the 1970s.
