Description

A set of 6 high quality steel Croquet Hoops manufactured in the UK by Uber Games. These Croquet hoops are made from 11mm thick steel and have a height of 17.5 inches, with 5 inches dipped in black, leaving the regulation 12 inches above ground. There is a 4 inch gap between the uprights.



2 of the Croquet hoops feature special painted tops (1 red and 1 blue), indicating the start and end points of the Croquet game.



A handy canvas storage carry bag is a nice addition, providing easy storage and transportation.



These are the Croquet Hoops supplied as part of the Uber Games Garden and Pro Croquet Sets.



These hoops are not tournament specification – competition hoops have a slightly smaller gap. These hoops are slightly more playable with a 4 inch gap but they do still conform to club standards viz: “The inner surfaces of the uprights must be approximately parallel and not less than 3 ¾” or more than 4″ apart (subject to Law 53(b) for tournament and match play) as set by the Croquet Association.”



It is recommended that the ground be softened and the hoop drill be used to avoid damage to the hoops.
