Description

The official World Chess Set (Home Edition with Bauhaus Walnut Board) comprises the Studio Chess pieces and a Bauhaus tradition inspired board. This set, especially designed for home use carries over the iconic Official Championship Set design but with a 20% reduction in size.



The chess pieces, inspired by Vladimir Kramnik and Magnus Carlsen are handcrafted from Boxwood and feature a 79mm (3″) King. Also included are two extra Queens.



The Bauhaus inspired Walnut veneered MDF board does not feature a full-size border, therefore providing a very elegant and geometric look. The 38cm board has 45mm squares and a 7mm border with the classic World Chess hexagon inlaid on both sides.
