A beautiful Studio Anne Carlton (SAC) chess set commemorating the American Civil War fought in the United States from 1861 to 1865, between the North and the South. Produced by popular request, the set depicts the major players in one of the United States of America’s most bloody and turbulent periods of history.



Expertly crafted from crushed stone poly resin and painted by hand, these chess pieces feature superb levels of detail, with General Robert E. Lee leading the South and General Ulysses S. Grant as king piece for the North. Highly collectible and sought after, the American Civil War chess pieces are a fine example of SAC’s superior craftsmanship and finish, in comparison to other ornamental chess manufacturers.
